The next morning we had a guided tour of one of the limestone cave systems here in Chillagoe.
After a quick lunch we headed to Mount Surprise via the four wheel drive track - Almaden to Mount Surprise, more corrugations and water crossings.
We arrived at the Bedrock C.P. about 4, setup camp and rested.
