On Saturday (13-9) we drove from Mount Surprise to Einasleigh (42km), then across to Forsayth (40km), up to Georgetown (42km) all off road driving, corrugations, water crossings, stock on road, it was exciting. From Georgetown we drove along the Gulf Developmental Road (Savannah Way) back to Mount Surprise. Left about 9am and arrived back about 5.30pm.
River crossing with and without water.
New bridge and old river crossing - all the run is now gone! imagine crossing this in the wet season
Fresh croc lazing in the Copperfield Gorge (about 2km from Einasleigh)
